Isn't this going to be fantastic in a week or so?
In November of 2006, I was visiting with my mother in my hometown. We stopped by a plant nursery and I purchased a couple of lavender mums. They were in full bloom and gorgeous. I couldn't wait to get them home. After leaving my mother's house, I stopped by my sister's for a short visit. I had barely turned off her street when my vehicle jerked something awful. It felt like I had been hit or had hit something. I stopped for a second and everything was running fine. I got out and didn't see any parts or fluids in the road, so I decided to drive again. After a few seconds, it jerked again, so I headed to my in-laws' house. They were headed out of town, but turned around after I called Justin and he called them. My father-in-law drove my vehicle for a second and immediately said it sounded like the transmission was tearing up. They loaned me their second vehicle to get home that afternoon. To make a long story short, since then, I've been superstitious when buying mums because I always associate them with having to get a new transmission. I'm keeping my fingers crossed this time. On a side note, the lavender mums were beautiful on our front porch.
