The Social House

Mama and my niece were in Atlanta this weekend to see the Rockettes at the Fox Theatre. They drove up Friday afternoon for the Friday night performance and spent that night with Justin and me. Saturday morning, we got dressed and headed to The Social House for brunch. Justin and I ate here about a year ago and really enjoyed it. There is always a crowd of people waiting to get a table and the food is worth the wait. We got so lucky on Saturday morning since we only had to wait about two or three minutes for a table.

I ordered the shrimp on grits (without the andouille sausage) and those were the creamiest grits I've ever eaten. They were delicious! Mama and my niece enjoyed their stacks of buttermilk pancakes and Justin ate all of his spinach omelette. He shared his biscuit with my niece and me. Mama ordered bacon and also enjoyed sugar-free syrup with her pancakes.

We had good service and the atmosphere is a little loud, but enjoyable. I highly recommend The Social House.
